Forest Management Services
 Zimmfor staff are licensed Professionals (i.e., Registered Professional Foresters) with
extensive operational experience in the coastal forest industry in British Columbia. 

We supplement our forestry knowledge with expertise in engineering and biology.
Zimmfor provides a wide range of forest management services, from cutblock layout
to Forest Stewardship Plan development.

We have proven experience and success in the following areas:
Harvest planning in British Columbia and Washington State, including
cutblock layout for ground based, cable (intermediate support, variable
retention) and helicopter harvest systems
Operational planning including Forest Stewardship Plan development,
amendment, and implementation
Tenure and license acquisition and management
Forest road layout and computer aided design, as well as bridge designs
Forestry and Silviculture activities, including Site Plans
Administration / supervision for the following types of activities:  planting, pruning, spacing, brushing, weeding, fertilization (ground and aerial), and a variety of silviculture surveys
Licence and block Pro forma’s, harvest scheduling and Business Plan development

relationships to effectively deliver a wide range of services, from small scale
projects to tenure acquisition and management, and everything in between.
